To Your Eternity

Beer Score: 1

Genre: Anime

Description: A lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment. But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well.

Reviewer: Quinn

This show is a straight rollercoaster of emotions, from high highs to low lows, this show has it all. This is one of my favorite anime of all time because the hold it has over your emotions. Also, To Your Eternity does something magical, because of the control it has over your emotions, it makes the show really hard to predict. Every time a new character, item, or location is introduced you become incredibly sceptical, will this seemingly meaningless item cause joy or indescribable anguish? Who knows? The only way you can find out is to keep watching. The description doesn’t really do the show justice, so I will add that the “wolf” was once an orb sent down by god.

Review Scale Below

On this scale, fewer beers means a better movie. If a film keeps you so engaged that you don’t need a drink, it scores low. The more beers it takes to get through, the worse the movie was.

  • 1 Beer: Great — only one beer for fun, not survival.

  • 2 Beers: Decent — had a few slow parts, but still enjoyable.

  • 3 Beers: Meh — starting to need drinks to stay entertained.

  • 4 Beers: Rough — alcohol improves it more than the plot does.

  • 5 Beers: Terrible — only bearable if you’re too buzzed to care.
