The Pacifier

Description: Having recovered from wounds received in a failed rescue operation, Navy SEAL Shane Wolfe is handed a new assignment: Protect the five Plummer kids from enemies of their recently deceased father -- a government scientist whose top-secret experiment remains in the kids' house.

Genre: Action / Drama

Beer Score: 2 Beers

Reviewer: Quinn

This movie is an all-time classic. It tells the story of Bruce Lee’s master without ever mentioning Bruce Lee. It’s full of super cool martial arts fight choreography and is definitely a movie that will get the boys hyped. It has a few slower parts, so you may need a beer or two, but I highly recommend watching this movie and all its sequels.

Review Scale Below

On this scale, fewer beers means a better movie. If a film keeps you so engaged that you don’t need a drink, it scores low. The more beers it takes to get through, the worse the movie was.

  • 1 Beer: Great — only one beer for fun, not survival.

  • 2 Beers: Decent — had a few slow parts, but still enjoyable.

  • 3 Beers: Meh — starting to need drinks to stay entertained.

  • 4 Beers: Rough — alcohol improves it more than the plot does.

  • 5 Beers: Terrible — only bearable if you’re too buzzed to care.
