Peacemaker

Beer Score: 2

Genre: Action / Comedy

Description: Picking up where The Suicide Squad (2021) left off, Peacemaker returns home after recovering from his encounter with Bloodsport - only to discover that his freedom comes at a price.

Reviewer: Quinn

Peacemaker slotted itself perfectly into the new superhero show niche, embodying techniques and writings from shows like The Boys, where the show’s rating becomes a little more mature in exchange for added immersion and fun. This show feels less like a “superhero” show and more like a show about a guy trying to do what he was told is right and eventually making up his own mind and following his own moral code. This show is amazing, and im personally really excited to see what show DC puts out next. Also quick note, shout out Adrian, one of the funniest characters in any show I’ve seen recently.

Review Scale Below

On this scale, fewer beers means a better movie. If a film keeps you so engaged that you don’t need a drink, it scores low. The more beers it takes to get through, the worse the movie was.

  • 1 Beer: Great — only one beer for fun, not survival.

  • 2 Beers: Decent — had a few slow parts, but still enjoyable.

  • 3 Beers: Meh — starting to need drinks to stay entertained.

  • 4 Beers: Rough — alcohol improves it more than the plot does.

  • 5 Beers: Terrible — only bearable if you’re too buzzed to care.
