This movie was a gift from the land of Japan. This movie gets a controversial Beer score of 0-1 because the movie is so good you won’t even want to get up to get a beer. I am giving it a 1 because I did get a specialty “Zenitsu” cocktail when I saw the movie in theaters. For a movie that is 2.5 hours long, it goes by way too fast. There is not a second of the movie you want to look away from, and when you do, you realize it’s already been 2 hours and the movie is coming to an end. I can’t even put into words how good this movie is. If you’re not into anime, I highly recommend you give the Demon Slayer English dub a chance. Who knows, it may change your life.
Review Scale Below
On this scale, fewer beers means a better movie. If a film keeps you so engaged that you don’t need a drink, it scores low. The more beers it takes to get through, the worse the movie was.
1 Beer: Great — only one beer for fun, not survival.
2 Beers: Decent — had a few slow parts, but still enjoyable.
3 Beers: Meh — starting to need drinks to stay entertained.
4 Beers: Rough — alcohol improves it more than the plot does.
5 Beers: Terrible — only bearable if you’re too buzzed to care.
