Challengers
Beer Score:1 Beer
Genre: Sport/Romance
Description: This movie follows a love triangle among professional tennis players. It goes beyond tension on the court and asks the question of ,” how stable are their relationships really?”
Reviewer: Eddie
I watched Challengers recently, and it quickly became one of my favorite movies. It’s one of those films that grabs you right away—not just because of the chemistry between the characters, but because of how intense and emotional it feels from start to finish. It’s technically a movie about tennis, but it’s really about obsession, competition, and how love and ambition can get totally tangled together. The camera shots and music choice also added to this film being one of my top 5 films.
Review Scale Below
On this scale, fewer beers means a better movie. If a film keeps you so engaged that you don’t need a drink, it scores low. The more beers it takes to get through, the worse the movie was.
1 Beer: Great — only one beer for fun, not survival.
2 Beers: Decent — had a few slow parts, but still enjoyable.
3 Beers: Meh — starting to need drinks to stay entertained.
4 Beers: Rough — alcohol improves it more than the plot does.
5 Beers: Terrible — only bearable if you’re too buzzed to care.
