Bridgerton
Beer Score: 2 beers
Description: Set in early 19th-century London, it follows the lives of the wealthy Bridgerton family as they navigate love, reputation, and high society during the social “season.” On the surface, it’s a period drama full of fancy balls, romance, and scandal—but it’s also modern, diverse, and full of emotion.
Genre: Romantic Drama

What I like most about Bridgerton is how it mixes old storytelling with a modern twist. The characters speak in proper, elegant ways, but their emotions and relationships feel very real and relatable. The show deals with love, desire, pressure, and social expectations in a way that’s surprisingly deep for something that’s also so fun to watch. The soundtrack is another great touch—using modern pop songs turned into classical string versions adds such a unique vibe. The only reason I would need the extra beer is to make sure I'm buzzed for the romantic drama.
Review Scale Below
On this scale, fewer beers means a better movie. If a film keeps you so engaged that you don’t need a drink, it scores low. The more beers it takes to get through, the worse the movie was.
1 Beer: Great — only one beer for fun, not survival.
2 Beers: Decent — had a few slow parts, but still enjoyable.
3 Beers: Meh — starting to need drinks to stay entertained.
4 Beers: Rough — alcohol improves it more than the plot does.
5 Beers: Terrible — only bearable if you’re too buzzed to care.
